Add a roll of 35mm film to your session for 24 intentional frames captured on film. Your roll will be professionally developed and scanned, giving you digital images you can download, share, and print.

Film is beautifully imperfect. Every frame is unique, and you won't know exactly what we captured until the roll is developed. That's part of the magic—and part of why film photographs feel so timeless.

Not sure how many rolls you'll need? I've got you! I'll help you choose the right amount of film for your session. As a general idea, an individual 1-hour session is usually around 1 roll, a 1-hour family session is closer to 2–3 rolls, and a wedding typically starts around 10+ rolls depending on the size and coverage. Of course, we can always adjust based on what you're looking for.

The $60 investment covers everything that goes into creating your film images—from the roll of film itself to having it professionally developed and scanned. You're investing in a completely different photography experience and a finished set of images with that classic, timeless film look.
A standard roll of 35mm film has 24 exposures, meaning I have 24 chances to capture your session. Unlike digital photography, I can't take hundreds of photos and choose the best ones later. Every frame is intentional, which makes each image feel a little more special.
Film has a look and feeling that is difficult to perfectly recreate digitally. The grain, colors, tones, and little imperfections give each image a sense of nostalgia and character. Film also slows the process down and makes us a little more intentional with the moments we're capturing.
Once we're finished shooting, your roll of film is mailed off to be professionally developed and scanned. Once I receive the scans back, I'll go through them and select the images that are worth delivering to you.
Film takes about the same time as digital from when they’re shot to when they’re in your hands! My typical film turnaround time is 2 weeks. There is some variation due to mailing speed and the labs turnaround time—but I promise the anticipation is part of the fun!
Honestly, no—and that's part of the beauty of shooting film! Film is unpredictable. Sometimes the focus isn't perfect, the lighting changes, or a frame simply doesn't turn out the way we hoped. Unlike digital, I can't look at the back of the camera after every shot. I carefully choose the images I deliver, but film isn't about perfection. It's about the genuine, unexpected, and sometimes imperfect moments that make the photos feel real.
Absolutely! Different film stocks have different colors, tones, grain, and overall personalities. If you have a certain look you're going for, we can choose a film stock that fits your vision. If you don't know anything about film, don't worry—I can help choose one that works best for your session.
